How Luntrack works

Everything the app does, screen by screen — what each tab is for and what every button does. New here? Read top to bottom. Looking for one thing? Jump straight to it below.

Getting started

Luntrack is an all-in-one fitness companion: nutrition, training, cardio and a video PR leaderboard, tied together by the same account you use on this website and in the app.

Your account & onboarding

When you first open the app you set up your profile — age, sex, height, weight, activity level and goal (lose weight, gain muscle, maintain, or a custom target). From those, Luntrack calculates your daily calorie budget and macro targets. You can change any of it later in Settings → Goals & nutrition or on your Profile.

Free vs Pro

The core tracker — logging food, workouts, steps and weight — is free. AI features (photo food scanning, the AI chat coach) and some extras run on a subscription or on credits. Your plan is shown in Settings → Subscription. Subscriptions and credits are purchased on this website, never inside the app.

It works offline

Logs you make without a connection are saved on your phone and sync automatically when you're back online. A small banner tells you when you're offline or when changes are still syncing.

Home (Today)

Your day at a glance — body stats, activity and how your calories are tracking right now.

The number you should watch most is balance: it turns your goal (deficit for fat loss, surplus for muscle) into one simple figure for the day.

Nutrition

Log everything you eat and drink. There are five ways to add a food — pick whichever is fastest.

Portions & the quality score

Every food lets you set the amount — grams, a serving, or common household units. Foods also carry a Health Food Score: a per-100g quality rating (fibre, sugar, saturated fat, sodium and processing) so you can see at a glance how good a choice is, not just its calories.

Micronutrients & water

Beyond calories and macros, Luntrack tracks ten key micronutrients (vitamins and minerals) with a counters page and analysis. Log water with one tap to hit your hydration target for the day.

Budget, weekly view & saved meals

The top of the screen shows your daily budget — how many calories and how much of each macro you have left. The weekly view shows the whole week. Save meals you eat often as Your meals to re-log them in one tap, and track supplements you take.

AI tools

Luntrack's AI turns a photo or a sentence into a logged meal, and answers nutrition questions.

AI estimates are a fast starting point, not a lab measurement. Tweak the portion or macros whenever you know better — the app learns nothing wrong from a correction, it just logs what you set.

Training

A weekly workout plan you can build automatically or edit by hand, plus a technique guide and progress tracking.

Logging a workout

Inside a day, each exercise lists its target sets and reps. Enter the weight and reps you actually did — Luntrack keeps your history so the progress graph and streaks stay accurate. Rebuilding a plan is guarded once you have logged history, so you never wipe your record by accident.

Cardio

Steps, streaks and runs — most of it fills in automatically from your phone's health data.

Cardio needs permission to read steps from Apple Health (iOS) or Health Connect (Android). If numbers look empty, grant access in your phone's Health settings.

Leaderboard & PRs

Post a verified video of a personal record and see where you stand against everyone else.

Submitting a PR

Adding a PR opens a short “How to film” guide — swipe through the example photos so your video counts: film from the side, keep the plates visible, no spotter, and capture the full lift. Then record the set.

Trimming your clip

After recording, the trim editor lets you cut your clip to the key 5–10 seconds. Drag the handles to set the start and end, tap play to preview, then Done. This page is locked to the editor — you leave it only with the Back or Done button so a stray swipe can't throw your clip away.

Verification & ranking

Submitted lifts are checked automatically before they appear, to keep the board honest. Once approved, your entry is ranked among everyone else. Tap any entry to watch its video.

Settings

Everything you can configure, grouped into cards.

Data control

You decide what Luntrack keeps on your phone. Nothing here touches your account, and clearing local data just frees space — your synced data reloads from the server.

Plans & credits

How the paid features work.

Where to buy

Subscriptions and AI credits are purchased on this website, from your account page. The app shows your current plan and links you to the right place; it never charges you inside the app.

Credits

Credits top up AI usage on top of your plan. They're handy if you run through your monthly AI allowance and want more photo scans or chat.

Managing your subscription

Upgrade, cancel, or recover a cancelled subscription from Settings → Subscription. If you cancel, you keep access until the end of the period you already paid for.

Support

Stuck, or something's not right?

Contact us

In Settings → Help & Support tap Contact us to email our team at support@luntrack.com. The same email sits next to Problems with subscription. You can write to us there any time.

Guides open inside the app

This Guide, the FAQ and the legal pages all open right in the app in an embedded window — no need to jump out to a browser.
